What we keep, and why.
Short, because there is not much to say.
What the contact form collects
What you type: your name, email address, business, website, phone number if you give it, and your message, with the address of the page you sent it from. It is delivered to our inbox as an email from you, and we use it to reply to you and, if we work together, to do the work.
When we write to a business first
We look only at what is public. Our messages carry our postal address and two ways to stop hearing from us: reply with the word stop, or use the unsubscribe link. We honor both and keep a record so it stays honored; a press on the link is read from our logs, usually within the hour.
When you open a link from us
A concept we built lives on demos.lagrangesoftware.net. When it is opened, the host's access log records the request: the time, the page, the browser, the page it came from and the IP address. We use it to know the page was opened. No cookies and no tracking scripts.
What this site does not do
- No advertising trackers and no analytics scripts.
- No cookies set by us.
- We do not sell or rent what you send us, or share it for anyone else's use. It is stored and processed by the services we run on: our email, cloud hosting and AI providers.
Keeping and deleting
We keep correspondence for as long as we might work together. To have yours deleted, write to david@lagrangesoftware.net: we delete it from our mailbox and records, and copies in backups expire on their own schedule.
